I have a Vizio HDTV and am trying use an HDMI cable to connect it to my HD DVD player but i get no audio! Help
I am using the speakers the TV came with. I am using an HDMI cable to connect the HD DVD player to my TV. When i turn it on I get the picture but I do not get any audio. What am I doing wrong or could it be the HD DVD player?
Make sure you do not have any other audio cables plugged into the HD-DVD player, as models such as the Toshiba A2 sometime cannot output audio to both simultaneously.
Also make sure your television's HDMI setup is correctly setup to PCM or DD decoding. You're manual will help you with this setting.
