Can region 1 blu-ray movies be played in PS3 60GB PAL region 2?
I purchased a PS3 60GB PAL Region 2 here in Kuwait.. after that I purchased online a blu-ray movie. Without my awareness, that blu-ray movie is region code 1 and its too late for me to cancell cause its already shipped.
It depends if the movie is just produced in region 1, or it is region locked for region 1. If it's not locked, you'll be able to play it. If it is, there's a slight possibility that you can get past the region lock by putting the disc in, and pressing triangle to skip to menu. It works for New Line Cinema movies. However, you shouldn't count on this working 100% of the time, because Sony could fix this flaw.
